At Woolley Shooting LLC, we provide fast, reliable, and compliant FFL (Federal Firearms License) transfer services for firearms purchased online or from out-of-state sellers. Our experienced team ensures that all transfers are handled professionally and in full compliance with federal and state regulations.
We strongly advise against using USPS to ship firearms to our location.
Our store is closed Monday and Tuesday. If USPS attempts a delivery on these days, they will return the firearm to their shipping hub. Retrieval from a USPS hub requires an FFL and can be a lengthy, complicated process.
Woolley Shooting LLC is not responsible for any costs, delays, or complications arising from USPS retrieval.
We recommend using UPS or FedEx for all firearm shipments, as they allow scheduled deliveries and hold options at local facilities.
When you purchase a firearm from an online retailer or out-of-state seller, the firearm must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer in your state. Here's how our transfer process works:
For the transfer, please bring:
Please allow at least 24 hours from the time your firearm(s) have arrived at our location for them to be logged in and prepared for transfer.
ATF Form 4473 cannot be started until the firearm has arrived in our possession at the store.
If you are sending a firearm as an individual to one of our facilities, please be sure to include a copy of your Driver's License and contact information.
Please email all licenses to: online-sales@woolleyshooting.com (No Fax)
We offer FFL transfer services at our Florida location:
900 Big Oak Road
St. Augustine, FL 32095
Phone: (904) 295-8483
Upon notification (or attempted notification) from Woolley Shooting that a firearm has been received for transfer, or that a repair has been completed, the customer has 30 days to retrieve the firearm.
If the firearm is not retrieved within this period, a $10 per day storage fee will be assessed until the firearm is transferred, or the total fees exceed the firearm's appraised value.
Once the accumulated storage fees surpass the firearm's value, it will be deemed abandoned property and offered for resale on the sales floor.
